We combine a lightning-fast JavaScript, V8 Rust function runtime with integrated storage, event triggers, and an AI gateway, all deployable on Docker or Kubernetes in any cloud—or behind your own firewall.
Our purpose is simple: give builders the velocity of modern serverless without the lock-in of closed platforms. Every module is composable, open, and observably secure, so teams in regulated or sovereign-cloud environments can ship ambitious products with confidence. From first commit to global roll-out, Tiderun brings craft, clarity, and choice back to cloud development.

We work remote-first from Stockholm and a handful of satellite desks around the world, meeting in person twice a year to plan, pair-program, and share our roadmap over strong coffee.

I’ve spent more than a decade designing developer platforms and runtime systems—most recently as Principal Software Architect at Northvolt and as a gameplay engineer at the indie studio Morgondag.
I founded Tiderun in 2025 after running into the same trade-off over and over: modern serverless feels fast but keeps you confined to ageing, closed platforms; self-hosted stacks grant freedom, yet make every new feature a marathon.
Tiderun is my answer: a modular PaaS written in Rust and TypeScript using beautifully open source foundations that delivers both velocity and sovereignty, raising the bar for how quickly teams can build, ship, and iterate—whether on a laptop in Stockholm or inside a sovereign telco cloud in Abu Dhabi.
I’m based in Sweden and still write code every day. In an age when AI is transforming what computers can do, I’m genuinely excited about the next chapter of compute—more intelligent, more distributed, and more open than ever—and I’m building Tiderun to help developers ride that wave.
